India Express Logistics Industry to Touch $18–22 Billion by FY3

News: India’s express logistics sector, spanning cargo handling, multi-modal transport, warehousing, last-mile delivery, and customs clearance, is a cornerstone of the supply chain and economic growth.
Valued at $9 billion in FY25, the industry has grown at a 12–15% CAGR since FY17 and is projected by EICI-KPMG to double to $18–22 billion by FY30, creating 65–75 lakh jobs.
The sector contributed $1–1.5 billion in GST and $650 million in customs duties in FY24, while supporting 28–30 lakh jobs.
Domestic express logistics dominates with a 70% share, while cross-border e-commerce and MSME exports drive international growth.
Rising e-commerce adoption, quick commerce, and D2C brands are reshaping demand, with express logistics already contributing 60% of India’s B2C logistics market.
