Indore Airport to Introduce Dedicated Cargo Flights

News: Devi Ahilyabai Holkar Airport in Indore is set to boost its cargo operations by launching dedicated cargo flights in collaboration with local trade and industrial bodies. The initiative aims to enhance regional exports, domestic freight connectivity, and position central India as a key logistics hub.

At a recent Airport Advisory Committee meeting, officials also discussed infrastructure upgrades, passenger amenities, and customs process improvements.

The airport plans to introduce international flights to Singapore and Bangkok and complete terminal expansion ahead of the Ujjain Simhastha 2028.

With a growing industrial base in pharmaceuticals, engineering, and agriculture, these developments will strengthen Indore’s global trade and logistics competitiveness.
