India and Indonesia to collaborate on defense manufacturing and supply chain

News: Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced that India and Indonesia will enhance cooperation in the defense sector through joint efforts in defense manufacturing and supply chains.
Following his meeting with Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto, PM Modi highlighted Indonesia’s role as the chief guest at India’s first Republic Day and expressed pride in its participation as India marks 75 years of the Republic.
He recalled his 2018 visit to Indonesia, which strengthened ties through a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership. The leaders held comprehensive discussions on various areas of mutual cooperation. PM Modi emphasized that both nations are committed to deepening their defense collaboration, reinforcing their strategic partnership for regional stability and economic growth.
