The India-US TRUST initiative, and how will it enhance critical minerals and pharmaceutical supply chains

News: India and the U.S. have launched the Transforming Relationship Utilizing Strategic Technology (TRUST) initiative to strengthen cooperation in critical minerals, including lithium and rare earth elements (REEs).
Building on India’s inclusion in the U.S.-led Minerals Security Finance Network and the Minerals Security Partnership (MSP), this initiative aims to counter China’s dominance in critical mineral supply chains.
Announced during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Washington, TRUST focuses on reducing technology transfer barriers, addressing export controls, and boosting high-tech commerce between the two nations.
